An easy adaptation of the traditional cake for Mardi Gras
Preheat oven to 350. Spread out the cinnamon dough to form a square on your pan. You want it longer than wider to be able to roll it up good and connect ends. Once dough is flattened out you want to spread cream cheese mixture across longways and fruit filling longways. Roll dough up and make it form a circle. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until done. Let cool slightly and add your colored frosting left over from cinnamon roll cans. Sprinkle with sugar crystals.
To make cream cheese filling..
Place cream cheese in microwave safe bowl and microwave till soft. Add 1/4 cup sugar and 1tsp vanilla. Stir till blended.
To make frosting....
Leave frosting in the little container it comes in. Add 1 drop only of food color to frosting. Mix red/blue to make the purple.
