Cut limes into wedges and squeeze juice and put limes into a 2-quart pitcher. Then pour and stir all the other ingredients.
Also, try adding a touch of Blue Curacao liquor for a pitcher of blue margaritas.
Add crushed ice to the pitcher. Pour into margarita glasses, maybe with a little salt on the rim, and garnish with more limes. Cheers!
Depending on the crowd, I use anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 cups of tequila with all the other ingredient proportions the same. The use of tonic water helps to cut the strength of the cocktail, if needed, while giving the drink a little effervescence.
