Remove the beef to casserole dish
soften the onion and garlic in same pan
remove garlic and onion to casserole dish
add coffee and a little salt
simmer covered for 2 hours
- add a little water if too dry
add remaining ingredients except for kidney beans, and simmer uncovered for 30 mins
add kidney beans and simmer for another 10 mins
serve with soured cream, grated cheese and chopped avocado and tomato
