Cut the piece smaller than usual--it's very rich!
Mix flour and sugar in large bowl. Melt 2 sticks of butter in pan and add 4 Tbsps cocoa and water. Bring to boil and pour over dry ingredients. Mix well and add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well and pour into greased 8x11" baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.
Five minutes before the cake is done, put the powdered sugar, pecans and vanilla in a bowl. Then mix in a saucepan and bring to a boil, the remaining stick margarine, the other cocoa and milk. Remove from heat and pour over the powdered sugar, pecans and vanilla. Mix well and pour icing over cake while still hot.
