My friend Marlene Spady makes the best Carrot Cake EVER!
Sift together all dry ingredients.
Then beat together the next five ingredients and pour over dry ingredients.
Stir in the remaining four ingredients.
Pour into a greased 9x12x2 inch pan and bake at 350 degree oven about 55 minutes. It may need additional time.
Check with a toothpick.
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING - CREAM TOGETHER THE FOLLOWING
8 OZ CREAM CHEESE- ROOM TEMPERATURE
1 STICK OF SOFT BUTTER
1 BOX POWDERED SUGAR
2-3 TSP VANILLA
A DASH OF CREAM FOR SPREADABLITY
