Suggest a better descriptionSpread 1/2 of the shortening on the counter. Put sugar on top of the shortening, and make a crater in the middle.
Put marshmallows in a large bowl, and sprinkle with water. Microwave until melted.
Pour melted marshmallows into the crater, coat your hands with shortening, and start folding the sugar on top of the marshmallow.
Knead the fondant until everything is combined...adding the rest of the shortening as you go.
