Mary Jo's original, prize winning recipe.
1 Freeze sirloin slices (to help cutting them into 3/8 inch cubes.)
2. Create a paste of salt and garlic using a mortar and pestle.
3. Cut sirloin slices into 3/8 inch cubes.
4. Brown sirloin in renderd suet, 2 lbs at a time. Add meat and juices to cooking pot.
5. Saute onion in 3 Tbsp of rendered suet until translucent. Add to cooking pot.
6.Add beer, tomato sauce, water, beef stock,1/2 of the garlic salt paste. 2 Tbsp paprika, MSG and 2 Tsp pepper to cooking pot.
7. Simmer in tightly lidded pot over low heat 2 hours until meat is tender; stirring occasionally.
8. When meat is tender, add remaining ingredients and simmer for one more hour.
