Add above ingredients together and roll into meatballs, beat egg with fork and dip meatballs in egg and roll in breadcrumbs, put aside.
Put a little oil in a heavy pan, brown meatballs all around and put aside.
Saute 1/2 cup onion in oil, add 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots and parsley, cook for 1 minute or so, add meatballs. Add large can heinz tomato sauce and same amount water, cook for 2.5 - 3 hours.
