Preheat oven to 375. Sprinkle plantains with pepper and salt. Drizzle with olive oil.
Place plantains on baking sheet, cut sides down. Bake about 20 minutes. Turn over and bake 10 min more.
Remove from oven, mash plantains directly on baking sheet, with potato masher, until smooth with few chunks.
Drizzle with lime juice.
