Mashed potatoes made in an induction kenwood. Needs a colander, which I do not have.
1. Peel potatoes (power tool)
2. Put potatoes and water in the bowl.
3. Temp to maximum, speed to stirring 3 and boil for 20 minutes or until cooked.
4. Put the potatoes in the bowl and used power whisk on full to break them up.
5. While the potatoes are still hot, run them through the colander and sieve, and back into the bowl.
6. Return the potatoes to the bowl and use the power whisk, set temp to about 70 sop they don''t get cold. Turn to minimum and whisk in the butter.
75 grams butter is a lot for me, but the girl likes it.
02APR11 - Experience suggest that 20mins is not enough. 30 might be closer to the mark.
14FEB14 - Might be best to cook the potatoes on the hob, then they only take 18 minutes.
