Suggest a better descriptionPeel and cut potatoes in quarters. Place in pan, fill with water 1 inch higher than potatoes. Boil for 25 minutes, drain and put back in pot.
Put butter and sour cream in potatoes. Mash, adding milk as needed.
Slow cooker:
Put peeled potatoes in slow cooker, cover with chicken broth (add a clove of garlic for garlic flavor), and turn on high for 4 hours. Drain and proceed as above.
