One of the best soups out there!
Before Starting put 4 cloves of garlic in a shallow pan and sprinkle with olive oil. Cover and put in the oven for a hour. Combine Beef Broth, Consume, Wine, Bolion, Soy Sauce, squeeze roasted garlic in, and Worcestershire in a large crock pot. cut onion and reserve into a bowl while you have a pot on stove warming, warm your butter when melted add onion, thyme and bay leaves, cover and let simmer stirring from time to time for about 20 mins on low. when onions are translucent add to crock pot. Cover crock pot on med-high before bed I turn on to warm for the night, then in morning turn on low for about 3 hours then back to warm and serve!
you can use minced garlic if you wish, as I have done that, just not as big of a flavor.
