Suggest a better descriptionMix spaghetti sauce and water in slow cooker; stir well. Add meatballs (27-36 meatballs - half the 28 oz. package is 27 meatballs); stir gently until evenly coated. Cover with lid.
Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 2 to 4 hours).
FILL buns with meatballs and sauce; sprinkle with cheese.
(We used 6 meatballs per sub roll, but for a party, sub buns could be cut in half, using 3 meatballs per half sub sandwich to make 9 half-sub servings per recipe (if you use 27 meatballs, which is half of a 28 oz. package of Farm Rich Italian Style Meatballs).
