meatloaf with all the goodies and sweet sauce on top. excellent
can also make this with 1 lb ground beef and 1/2 lb ground pork, makes it a bit more dense
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Make the glaze: combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and soy sauce
Cook bacon until crisp, or if you are in a hurry use bacon bits
Combine bread and milk in a bowl and let bread soak.
Combine the minced onion, celery, garlic, parsley, mustard, thyme, egg, salt & pepper in a large bowl. Add the bread and milk mixture and meat. Mix thoroughly with your hands or spoon.
Place in a loaf pan.
Put bacon crumbles on top, then pour all but 2 tablespoons of glaze on top of that. Combine onion rings and rest of glaze in a bowl and then place onion rings on top of bacon and glaze.
Bake the meatloaf for 1 hour @ 350.
