Juicy mini-burgers that capture the flavors of our favorite Greek and Middle Eastern joints.
Sauce Prep:
• Mix Cucumber, yogurt, and lemon juice together. Stir in dill just before using.
Slider Prep:
• Mix meat with cheese, onion, spices, and seasonings
• Shape and form into slider sized patties, about three ounces (they will be a little loose)
• Grill or cook as desired
• Dress with Cucumber Dill Sauce
• Serve with desired accompaniment.
Pita pockets would be a festive way to serve these to continue the theme, but we just used rolls we had on hand. Feta could be substituted in place of the ricotta, but seasonings may need to be adjusted, and some wine or extra lemon juice might need to be added for moisture.
