Latvian multi layered honey cake
Put honey in high sided pot, melt on low heat
Add baking soda
Add beat up eggs
Add flour, stir in the dough
Take Base of flat round pan or square one, turn it over, and using a large, wide knife spread it over the Base. Put it in oven (180-200C ), bake it only until it's just raised, about 3-5 minutes. Tak ed out of oven, using thin knife remove it from the pan, wash the base, and put on another layer, bake, repeat.
Take sour cream, mix in sugar till dissolved, can add in vanilla paste.
Layer cake layers with sour cream, be generous with spur cream, let it run over the sides.
Let it all soak for at least overnight.
Can decorate with reserving 1 layer, crm blind it up in crumbs and sprinkling all over the cake and the sides of it.
