Suggest a better descriptionSweat onions, shallots, carrots and celery in pot. Brown meat and deglaze with wine (optional). Add liquid, garlic, seasoning and tomatoes. Bring to a boil and simmer for at least an hour. Then add potatoes and frozen vegetables. Add extra water if desired. Return to boil and simmer until potatoes are fork tender (about 30 minutes). Or you could just dump it all together in the crockpot for 6 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
