1. Combine egg whites, vanilla, and salt. Beat until stiff but not dry. Beat in sugar gradually until stiff and satiny. Divide into 2 portions to color (1) red and (2) green. Fold half of chocolate chips into each mixture.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in oven 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
