You are sure to please with this savory breakfast quiche! Serve with Toast or Fresh Fruit for the perfect breakfast.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place butter in large glass (at least 13 x 9) baking dish, and put into oven so butter can melt while oven is preheating.
Brown sausage in pan, set aside to cool. (crumbled)
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together. In a large separate dish, beat eggs. Add dry ingredients to beaten eggs. Add cottage cheese, monterrey jack cheese, chilies, and sausage. mix well with large spoon.
Remove pan from oven with liquefied butter. Be careful, it will be hot!!
Add egg mixture to pan with butter. The butter does not need to be mixed into eggs.
Heat for 50 minutes. Edges will be golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
