Cook ground beef and onion, drain.
Add chili powder, cumin, and taco seasoning and stir to combine.
Add salsa verde and both cans of beans. Simmer til bubbling.
Spread about 1/4 cup red salsa evenly in bottom of a 9x13 baking dish, followed by a few tablespoons of ground beef mixture.
Layer 6 tortillas in baking dish, overlapping as you go.
Add 1/3 of meat mixture, then 6 more tortillas. Repeat these layers.
Put final 1/3 of meat mixture over last tortilla layer. Spread another 1/4 cup of red salsa evenly on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top and bake another 10-15 minutes or until cheese is bubble and melted.
Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
May be frozen.
