Try this Microwave Fudge (5 Minute Fudge) recipe, or contribute your own.
Suggest a better description1. Start by getting your pan ready: line an 8x8 pan with aluminum foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter.
3. Microwave it for one minute (2 minutes on my microwave) and then stir well. Now this stirring is actually the hardest part of the recipe, which should tell you how easy the recipe is. Stir until all of the chocolate and butter are melted, and the fudge is smooth.
It’s better the let the heat of the bowl gradually melt the chocolate rather than microwave it to death, but if your ingredients were cold you may need to microwave it for another 30 seconds or minute.
4.Once everything is melted and smooth, add the vanilla and salt. Stir until the fudge is totally smooth and well-mixed.
5. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth it into an even layer. Place the fudge in the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours.
6. Once the fudge is set, take it out of the pan, this is where your foil lining comes in handy. Peel the foil from the fudge and cut it into small squares.
This fudge is best at room temperature, when it's perfectly creamy and smooth and melts in your mouth. It's just about the perfect chocolate fudge, and the best part is it only takes about five minutes' worth of work!
