Heat the olive oil in a skillet, add the onion, cinnamon, coriander, pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until onions are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and parsley and cook until garlic is fragrant, about 1 more minute. Transfer to a bowl and leg cool slightly. Stir in chicken and yogurt until evenly mixed. Season with salt and pepper. Shape into 4 1/2 thick patties.
Cook in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes on each side. Brush burgers with molasses and set aside to rest for 5 minutes.
Serve on toasted buns with suggested fixes being, sliced cucumber, sliced tomato and sliced red onion.
