Preheat oven to 375
### Pie Filling: ###
Combine
granulated sugar
cornstarch
and water in large saucepan until smooth.
Bring to a boil.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir in apples and vanilla.
Place prepared pie crust into 9" pie plate.
Pour filling into crust, top will topping (below).
### Topping: ###
In medium bowl, with a pastry blender or fork, mix
flour
both sugars
and butter until coarsely crumbled.
Sprinkle evenly over the apples that have been prepared above and already poured into crust.
Bake at 375 for 50 minutes.
