chocolaty and easy to make
Heat oven to 375. Beat margarine and shortening until blended. Add sugars, beat well. Beat in eggs, vanilla and baking soda. Gradually beat in flour. Set aside 1/2 cup mini kisses, stir remaining chips into batter. Press dough into ungreased 15x10" jel.y roll pan (dough will be stiff). bake 15-20 minutes or until top is golden. Remove from oven; immediately place reserved kisses over top, pressing down lightly. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.
I use regular chocolate chips and don't put any on top. You can use milk chocolate chips as well.
