Preheat oven to 180C.
Grease baking trays.
Combine flour, sugar and sultanas in a bowl. Make a well in the centre.
Add butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir gently to combine. Mixture should be slightly sticky.
Add milk if the flour does not completely combine.
Drop heaped tablespoonfuls of mixture onto greased trays, allowing room for spreading.
Bake for approximately 12 minutes, or until lightly golden and firm to the touch.
Stand on trays for 5 minutes.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
