Heat oven 375 degree
In large bowl, beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted chocolate, instant coffee and rum; mix well. Stir in flour amd 1 cup chopped walnuts; pour into pie crust (ready made or homemade crust). Top with walnut halves or pieces. Bake 25 minutes. Cool. Chill 1to 2 hours before serving. Top with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

In bowl, cream butter, vanilla, confectioners sugar until light and fluffy. Stir together flour and baking powder blend into butter mix. Pat into pie plate. Refrigerate 1/2 hour. Prick pie crust before placing into oven. Bake 15-20 minutes.
