Suggest a better descriptionCream shortening, sugar, & butter together until light colored & fluffy. Beat in molasses & eggs. In another bowl combine flour, salt, soda, ginger, cloves & cinnamon. Blend thoroughly with wire whisk.
Gradually mix flour mixture into creamed ingredients.
Roll into sm balls, dip one side in sugar & place on cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-11 minutes 350F.
