Suggest a better descriptionBeat butter & sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg & molasses; beat well. Combine sifted flour, baking soda, & spices. Add to molasses mixture; mix well. Stir in raisins. Cover & refrigerate for 2 hours. Shape into 1” balls & roll in sugar. Place 2” apart on greased cookie sheet (or parchment paper/silpat). Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool on rack.
