Cream together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and lemon juice. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Add bananas.
Mix salt, flout, soda and baking powder. Add alternately with buttermilk to banana mixture.
Pour into 3 greased floured loaf pans (not the big loaf pans, use the smaller ones).
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
