A great chili recipe, good on eggs, meat etc.
Using a blender mix all ingredients (coarsly chopped not pureed) and boil for 1 hour.
If required it can be thickened with corn starch.
Note:
The oil of pickling spice is getting hard to find. If you do find it a small jar will last for years.
If you can not find it use the substitute and place in a cheescloth bag while cooking and remove afterwards.
Bottle in quart preserve jars as for any preserve.
