Bacon adds a different touch to this classic
1. Bring water to a boil and start pasta cooking
2. Meanwhile, cook bacon in fry pan or electric skillet. When done to desired crispness, cut into pieces, set aside. Drain the pain but leave some of the bacon grease to cook hamburger in, for extra flavor.
3. Brown the hamburger in the bacon grease and add the onions together with the Worcestershire sauce.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the hamburger mix
5. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato juice. Add ketchup, salt and pepper or other seasonings. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes for flavors to mix.
An added bonus: when you reheat the leftovers, you can warm them in skillet with a small spoon of bacon grease or warm in microwave with a dab of ketchup mixed in. Actually can taste better the second day!
