The popovers I grew up eating, filled with melted butter and strawberry jam. Yum.
Preheat oven to 450(F).
Beat eggs slightly in medium bowl. Beat in rest of ingredients just until smooth.
Fill muffin cups 1/2 full.
Bake 20 minutes, reduce oven temperature to 350(F). Bake 20 minutes longer or until deep golden brown. Remove immediately from pan and serve hot.

A popover pan can help the popovers puff up more, but isn't necessary.
