Preheat oven to 450
Warm cream over med-low heat in saucepan with garlic. Stir constantly.
Layer potatoes, Cheese, seasonings in 9 x 13 baking pan.
Pour cream over potatoes
Bake 45-50 minutes
Sprinkle remaining cheese over, and return to oven to melt 5-10 minutes
