the original recipe calls for chocolate chips and m&m's, but this is a great non-chocolate option.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend together butter, peanut butter, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and white corn syrup. Add eggs and blend. Add baking soda. Mix in oatmeal. Stir in Reese's pieces and butterscotch bits. M&M's and chocolate chips can be substituted for the reese's pieces and butterscotch bits.
Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. bake for about 12 minutes(depending on oven) until light, golden brown. cool slightly before removing from pan.
If cookies seem too thin, sprinkle in more oatmeal and stir.
