These are not the traditional Monte Cristos, so this may not be the recipe for you. However, these are super easy to make for a work week dinner
Fry bacon to desired done ness.
Beat eggs, milk and spices together in shallow pan
Dredge bread slices in egg mixture as if you're making French Toast.
Working with 4 slices of bread at a time, brown lightly on one side on a large, flat pan or skillet. Turn over and on the cooked sides of two slices, layer with 2 each of ham, turkey, and cooked bacon, and a single slice of cheese.
Top with the other cooked pieces of Bread. Continue to heat until cheese starts to melt and meats are warmed.
Serve hot with raspberry jam and maple syrup, if desired.
Essentially you're making French Toast sandwiches filled with ham, turkey, bacon, and cheese. It's not an authentic Monte Cristo, but it's a great and easy to fix substitute.
