Ground beef with seasonings and a simple gravy. We have lways served it with mashed potatoes, ranch-style beans, and tortillas. My kids like to mix up the meat, beans, and potatoes and eat the mixture inside the tortillas :-)
1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef by hand with the cumin, salt, and pepper.
2. Saute the onion and celery in a little bit of oil in a skillet until soft. Add garlic and sauté about 30 seconds more.
3. Add the meat mixture to the skillet and cook thoroughly. Drain the fat and lower the heat.
4. Sprinkle flour over the meat until lightly coated all over. Add water and stir until a nice, moist gravy forms.
5. Serve with ranch style beans, mashed potatoes, and homemade tortillas.
