Suggest a better descriptionIn a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and salt over Medium heat. Cook 3-4 minutes or until butter melts and sugar begins to caramelize, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. In a medium bowl, whisk cornstarch and milk then whisk into the brown sugar mixture. Cook over Medium heat 5-6 minutes, or until mixture has thickened, whisking constantly. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla. Pour into a serving bowl or individual serving dishes and chill 2 to 3 hours or until set. Note I llike to serve this topped with some chopped chocolate-covered toffee bars. Serves 4-6.
