Cream together - Butter & Sugar. Add eggs & vanilla.
Mix together - flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
Mix all ingredients and add 24 ounce bag of chocolate chips, 9 ounce Hershey bar - grated, and 3 cups of chopped nuts (of your choice). Make golf ball sized cookies, - place 2 inches apart, bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 6 minutes.
Note - to make flatter cookies, flatten with a spatula after 5 minutes, then bake and additional 5 minutes, depending on your oven.
