Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together the white sugar and butter until creamy. Beat in 1 whole egg and 2 egg yolks (put whites aside for later). Mix in the flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Spread into a lightly greased 9x13 pan.
Sprinkle marshmallows and chocolate chips on top of unbaked crust.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold in the brown sugar and spread meringue mixture over the marshmallows and chocolate chips.
Bake for 20-30 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into squares.
