Suggest a better descriptionHeat the above over low heat, till the sugar is melted. Let it warm for 5 minutes, then add a bottle of red wine (preferably a bordeaux or a burgundy). Heat gently till small bubbles begin to form on the surface, but do not let it boil. Strain and enjoy! Of course the longer you leave it to warm, the more the flavour develops...it depends on what you like. You can also garnish with a few slices of orange or lemon.
