Ziti casserole with mushrooms.
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Grease a 13" x 9" baking dish.
3. Cook pasta in boiling water following package directions; drain.
4. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
5. Brown the ground beef for about 5 minutes.
6. Add onion, green pepper, and mushrooms.
7. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until beef is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.
8. Stir int he spaghetti sauce, cream of mushroom soup, and diced tomotoes.
9. Cook, stirring, until hot.
10. Add salt and pepper to taste.
11. Spread half of pasta in the prepared baking dish.
12. Spoon half of the sauce over the pasta then top with half of the cheese.
13. Repeat layers with the remaining pasta, sauce and cheese.
14. Bake for 20-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
