This banana bread is moist and delicious. You can substitute yogurt, even flavored yogurt, for the sour cream.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray 4 foil loaf pans (approx. 7 x 4).
Cream butter, oil and sugar together.
Add eggs, mashed banana, sour cream and vanilla and mix until well blended.
Combine dry ingredients and add gradually to wet ingredients, mixing at low speed until just combined.
Fold in nuts if using.
Divide batter evenly between pans and bake for 50 minutes or until thin knife comes out clean.
You can also use 8 x 4 pans, the bread just won't be as high. If you use 9 x 5 loaf pans, just use 3.
