This recipe is from memory from the Betty Crocker Cookbook for Boys and Girls in the 1050's. My Mother would make them for my Girl Scout Troop and they were such a hit.
Wish I had the original recipe. My children love these.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix cake mix, butter, vanilla and egg
Stir in nuts and chocolate chips
Drop by spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet
Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are set
