Suggest a better descriptionSift together first 3 ingredients. Beat butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Gradually beat flour mixture until soft dough forms. Divide dough into thirds. With plastic gloves on, knead cocoa powder & vanilla into one piece dough. Knead almond extract into another. Knead cherry extract & red food coloring third piece. Flatten into disk, wrap. Refrigerate 1 hr. Roll each disk between 2 piece wax paper to 1/2 in thick. Remove top piece wax paper from chocolate dough. Brush w some egg white. Remove all paper from almond dough, place on chocolate dough & brush top w egg white. Remove wax paper from top cherry dough, invert onto almond dough. Wrap plastic wrap. Refrigerate serveral hr. Heat oven 375. Peel remaining wax paper from dough. Tirm edges into even rectangle. Cut dough in half lengthwise & then crosswise into 1/4 in thick silces. Place slices on baking sheets, spacing slices 1 in apart. Bake 10 to 12 min.
