Flatbreads are a fast and flexible dinner that take only a few ingredients and come together in just a few minutes. Our version pairs fresh, juicy nectarines with tangy blasamic and creamy ricotta for a flavorful, crispy dish great for lunch, dinner, or an anytime snack!
1. Combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, and cayenne pepper in a small pot. Bring to a low simmer over medium heat and cook until it has reduced by half, stirring occasionally. It should take about 10 minutes. Set aside.
2. Heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. Place flatbreads on a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic and sea salt. Add dollops of ricotta cheese to the flatbreads and arrange the nectarine slices, prosciutto, and red onion on top and then bake for 10-12 minutes, or until nectarines are slightly soft.
4. Drizzle with balsamic reduction and sprinkle with fresh basil. Serve and enjoy!
