4 to 5 pound bone in rib roast.
Remove roast and butter from fridge, let stand at room temp for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 500.
Mix butter with all spices making a paste.
Place meat into glass baking dish.
Rub paste onto meat.
Cook 15 minutes at 500.
Reduce heat to 325.
Cook 15 minutes per pound. One hour for 4-5 pound roast.
Let stand for 10 minutes. Serve.
Do not open the oven while cooking.
