This is my original recipe. I now make it with 1 cup all purpose and 1 cup whole wheat flour for health purposes.
Pour warm water into small mixer bowl.
Stir in salt and yeast until dissolved. Let sit 5 minutes.
Add flour, sugar and oil and mix with dough hooks until dough ball forms. Dough should not be too wet. If it is, just add a little flour.
Let rest for 20 minutes.
Remove from bowl and knead for 5 minutes and form into a ball.
Lightly oil bottom of plastic bowl with olive oil. Place dough into bowl and roll in olive oil to coat all sides. Cover and let sit for at least 2 hours.
Stretch into 16 inch circle, place on lightly floured pizza peel and top.
Preheat pizza stone on lowest rack of oven on highest possible heat for minimum of 30 minutes (45 to hour is better). Slide pizza off peel directly onto stone as quickly as possible and bake at highest possible heat. Check after 7 minutes. Take out when outer crust is lightly browned and bottom crust is dark brown and can't be bent.
