My husband and I visited a restaurant while on our honeymoon. It was located on an apple farm and they specialized in apple everything. We visited twice during our stay because it was so good. The wonderful memory of the apple meatloaf we had stuck in my mind. When we got home I was disappointed to find out it was a secret recipe and it was nowhere to be found. I perfected the recipe (after several tries) and here it is...
Preheat oven to 350°. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with oil.
In a small bowl combine bread cubes, apple cider, and cream. Let soak.
In a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. Add soaked bread cubes. Mix
Divide mixture into two – shaping into loaves. This recipe makes two standard-sized meatloaves. I usually freeze one for a meal later in the month.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until temperature reads 150°.
