Meat and cheese Lasagna
SAUCE
Crumble beef and sausage (remove casing form sausage), add onion, bell pepper, celery and
green onions in saucepan brown and drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce, basil, nutmeg, garlic powder, salt,
pepper, sugar, oregano, tarragon, cooking wine, and tomato paste, cook until it starts to bubble.
CHEESE
Mix in large bowl, ricotta, mozzarella and eggs.
Other instructions
In 12X9 inch ungreased pan, spread 1 layer of sauce mixture in bottom then add 3 lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the cheese mixture alternating and ending with 3 lasagna noodles with sauce mixture on top. Cover with plastic wrap.
LASAGNA Noodles
Fill large pot with water and cooking oil and bring to a boil, add noodles and cook only until noodles become flexible.
Cooking Instructions
bake at 350 until it starts to bubble, rotating twice during cooking. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, let stand, covered for 15 minutes.
