Best oatmeal raisin cookies ever
1. Whisk egg, vanilla extract and add raisins. Put into the fridge for at least 1 hr.
2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Mix well.
3. In a plastic bowl combine margarine and shortening, beat with a hand mixer for 30.
4. Add sugar and brown sugar to the margarine and beat until fluffy.
5. Add eggs (with raisins) and milk, mix well.
6. Gradually add flour mix and then fold in oatmeal.
7. Put cookie dough in fridge for at least 2 hrs.
8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
9. Form 9 small balls (2 inches or 5 centimeter) and place on a cookie sheet with baking paper. Put the remaining cookie dough back into the fridge.
10. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes, and let the cookies cool on a rack.
